Satellite Headend (SAT)
The RISTV system will be delivered pre-configured using IPTV and Info-Hotel Services if ordered, including VOD-content (movies) according to the preconfiguration. Satellite reception system and other SAT-equipment must be installed and functioning if not deliverd in the project. In case of problems, the provider of RISTV reserves the right to charge all additional services to the customer for correcting network and/or SAT-reception problems on the existing system.
SAT-Equipment and Installation Requirements
For the SAT-reception, depending on needed TV channels, we propose following equipment to be installed:
SAT-Dishes:
Requirements: Astra 19°, Hotbird 13°, Nilesat 7° and Eutelsat 5°. According to user’s requirements, dish size, position etc. may vary. The SAT-Dish configuration depends on the required channels list (to be set up beforehand if possible).
Special requirements for French Channels where not accessible via TNT or via subscription
SAT dish directed to Eutelsat 5°W / Eutelset 26° (verify needed size of dish and position). Quattro LNB or preferably universal LNB with 4 outputs directly to the IPTV Server (no need to go thru coaxial multiswitch).
Coaxial Multiswitch Sample:
TNT-Requirements (where applicable and needed). Connect TNT Terrestrial cable/connector directly to the IPTV Server.
